The Lich King is finally dead and Immortal triumphs!
All though it took some time before we killed him, is it still a great success to scrath him off the kill list, and hopefully we'll see many more Lich King kills to come and even some hardmode encounters.
Immortal ain't running in its highest gear at the moment, but that doesn't stop our loyal members to be ready for the next incoming patch with the release of the Ruby Sanctum, and the intoduction of the new dragon: Halion.
There is still a long way until Cataclysm, but expect Immortal to come back in full force for this next expansion, in which we will tackle any encounter and challenge there will be presented for us.
Again a big Congrats to the members of Immortal who participated in Lich King kill, and also to the rest who made it possible by joining the raids. Keep up the good work! |

Not much to add, except we always wanted this title, so we decided that now we were 3 tiers above Naxx, we could aswell do it. We didn't have a full 25 man raid, but congrats to all who joined for the fun.

All though its only on 10man so far, I thought I could aswell post the news. Very nice fights in there and we can definitely start to feel the challenge from ICC, as we are also looking forward to heroic.
At the moment are we still working on the Putricide kill in our progress on 25man ICC, but we have already tried the Blood Prince Council, so as soon as we are done in the Plagueworks we'll make our way there.

Abit late news, but Immortal managed to kill Professor Putricide on 10man January the 14th. The fight itself was very nice, and a good challenge for everybody.
We also had our first 10 fine attempts on 25man, where we didn't get a kill but that should come very soon hopefully.

After alot of sweat, blood and an awsome high spirit, we finally managed to kill Festergut. It is said he is the gearchek for ICC so far, so seems like we passed it good - Great job all in Immortal!
Conserning Rotface did we have some tries on him, and we will definitely get him next time. So if everybody keep the good motivation we'll have great success.

Alright, we had a great start on Icecrown Citadel and managed to clear the first 4 bosses on 10man normal within some hours, also our second team got far and will soon clear it too.
This sunday we are having our first tries in 25man, so expect more kills on the list from there also.
Overall great job all in Immortal - and keep it going!

Doing our first run in 10man, I also decided I wanted to record our kills in Icecrown Citadel. I captured the first 4 kills in 10man, and I will try to get them all as we progress through the instance.

Its finally here, the last chapter in the big expansion Wrath of the Lich King. It is the moment we have all been waiting for, go into Icecrown Citadel and get our vengeance on the Lich King for all the bad things he have done.
There will though still pass some months before we actually can fight against him, but until that should there be alot of bosses in our way, that needs to be killed.

| 30 Oct 2009 | 25man heroic Northrend Beasts down!
|
|
After some time we finally decided to tryout Trial of the Grand Crusader on 25man, and it turned out to be a good decision. We managed to kill the Northrend Beasts within a reasonable amount of attempts, and also had some fun and good tries on Lord Jaraxxus.
Overall a great raiding night, and hopefully we'll get more kills in the next weeks.

Like the title and the picture describe have we gotten so many different achievements since the last patch, that it can become abit redundant mentioning them all.
So I decided just to smash some of them on a picture. Worth mentioning is we got our first Glory of the Ulduar Raider completed, also did our first 25man hardmode if you still can call Sartharion 3D hardmode ;)
Ofcourse we can't forget the new Onyxia, which kind of feel a little easier now, atleast I remember her deep breaths being worse back in vanila, but thats what it is.
Overall a great job to all the members in Immortal! |

So as Immortal have been taking on ToC in its many forms there are a few that didn't forget about Ulduar.
A brave team of 10 have been slowly eating their way through the instances hard-modes and last night managed to take to Mimiron and earn "Firefighter".
So with only the yoggie achievement left Immortal might soon have its very first Rusted Proto Drakes.
......so keep tuned.

| 14 Sep 2009 | Finally, Anub'Arak down!

Anub'Arak on 10man heroic killed:
After a fairly easy ride through the Trial of the Grand Crusader on 10man, with only a few attempts used on the Twin Val'kyr, did we have high hopes for killing Anub'Arak also rather fast. But all our hopes were crushed, and we ended up using all our remaining attempts.
A week passed and we came back again to Anub'Arak with alot of tries, so we started out with having some insane tries that ended around 5,4,3,2 and 1% all the time, but today we finally got him down with 20 attempts left. In total we used around 50 attempts of fun and pain, but it was all worth it!

Hello!!!
As our resident news reporter is seriousy slacking it falls to this old dorf to give you all updates.
Immortal has cleared ToC normal, it wasn't really that hard to be honest and we are hoping that is intentional to provide a quick gear boost to take on the 25-man heroic version.
On the subject of heroics Immortals 10-man teams have also been hard at it and have cleared everything but Anub (1% wipes FTW) in the heroic version. |

At the moment Immortal have killed the 2 first bosses in the Trial of the Crusader on 10-man mode, very easy fights when you know the different mechanics.
In the 25-man version did we also down the 3 beasts which is the 1st boss, and had some tries on the 2nd.
We also had some time to take down another 2 new hardmodes in Ulduar 10-man, the Freya with 3 Elders "Knock, Knock, Knock on Wood" and the General Vezax "I Love the Smell of Saronite in the Morning" - Good job all!

The newest WoW patch will be hitting the EU servers tomorrow, giving a new dungeon and instance to challenge ourselves with in the preparation for the Lich King.
Also introducing a whole new Battleground, which evolve around the whole Argent Tournament theme, which seems interesting.

| 16 Jun 2009 | Yogg-Saron 10man down!
|

Finally Yogg-Saron is down, the road was long but not really difficult. After all the hardmodes we have been through our members have become toughened, so the last fight in Ulduar wasn't really that rewarding, but still the strawberry on the cake. Good job all!
Now we can finally focus 100% on hardmodes, and get the last ones down to get our entrance pass to Algalon's party.
In other news did we oneshot Mimiron on first try in 25man, and Vezax on 2nd try, so only need Yoggy now on 25man, and Ulduar will be on farm.

Even though we still miss to kill Yogg-Saron in 10man, are we having some great fun doing the hardmode encounters, yesteday we managed to get both XT and Hodir down on hardmode. A lot of the fights seem more perfected when its done on hardmode and it just give that little extra to the fight as a whole.
As you can note from the guild progress at the top we also had some good progress in the 25man, and managed to get both Thorim and Hodir down there. Mimiron, Vezax and Yoggy kills coming up!

A little update on Immortal's progress in Ulduar: We are currently killing bosses in there with two teams on Normal, and are both doing a great job.
In some days we will have our first guild heroric Ulduar run, which we are all looking very much forward to.
On a little sidenote, did we kill Ignis on normal as the second alliance guild on the server, not anything special, but a little nice achievement there ;)

After some bad luck on getting a Malygos 25 raid going, did we finally get him killed! That means Immortal have cleared every single PvE encounter in WotLK so far, and while we are all waiting for Ulduar, there are a lot of fun to try with Sartharion + drakes - We managed it with 1 drake, almost 2, so within some weeks the Twilight Duo and Zone should also be obtained.

Congrats Immortal!
3 great years of owning, killing, wiping, raiding, pvp'ing, socialising and just pure good entertainment. All the memories from the nostalgic raiding Molten Core to an outer planet called Outlands, and now up in the cold north of Northrend fighting dragons and undeads, even then Immortal is still going strong.
Some people have gone and new ones has come, but even then, the old Immortal spirit is still running through out the guild, and all the members can be proud to have the Immortal tag over their head.
In other news, Immortal killed Malygos, good job people and keep it up!
And as the picture is showing, Immortal also killed Sartharion both 10 and 25man, old news but we didn't really update it until now.

Naxxramas have been cleared by Immortal. It wasn't really a demanding instance, but it did offer a lot of fun and good memories of the old 40 man Naxx.
The Obsidian Sanctum and the Wintergrasp boss have basicley also been cleared by Immortal, but the killshots are missing so they will be on the site as soon as we get some ;)

The day has finally come, Immortal has ventured to the forsaken land of Northrend, where the ending chapters will be written and the Lich King himself must pay for his actions.
First goal will be level 80 and after that will Immortal's raiding start again, where there will primarily be focused on 10-man raiding, with some occasionally 25-man raids.

After great work from the raiders in Immortal, we finally reached our goal to get 10 bears from ZA, and just in time before the patch.
It all started out the 24th july, where our first member from the team got the bear, and after that 9 more followed. There were some difficulities managing to do it all in time, but with some awesome focus and help from different people, we succeeded.
With this, Immortal is starting to get ready for the upcoming patch and also a planned raiding comeback in WotLK - Cya there!

| 25 Apr 2008 | Its never too late...!

|
Zul'Aman has finally been cleared by Immortal! Some might think that it was pretty late, but like the title says; its never too late, and this was a great victory for the members still remaining strong in Immortal.
To make it even better, it was actually Immortal's first time on both Hex Lord Malacrass and Zul'jin, so I must admit it was great performace from a guild not raiding regular anymore.
With ZA cleared, we expect to get it on "farm" status like we have with Karazhan at the moment, and clearing it second time shouldn't be too much of a problem.
Conserning the guild progress window up in the top, will I try to get it fixed anytime soon.

Just wanted to post a little status on Immortal for the people who visit or page.
At the moment Immortal is still a casual guild, as stated since september last year.
Though we are casual, there is still room to atleast clear Karazhan without any problems, and sometimes also some bosses in Zul'Aman. Conserning the webpage, can't we really get it updated anymore since our site moderators ain't playing the game anymore.
If Immortal will make a comeback in the future as a raiding guild again is still unclear, but the possibility might be there. |

Eventhough it's still summer, we continue to kill new bosses! High Astromancer didn't want to die last raid, so we had to came back today and we got him / her / whatever down pretty fast! Everyone was focused, doing what he was supposed to and it seemed so easy!
Right now, we have 2 opponents left: Vashj and Kael, let's hope we'll get them down as easily as this one. We'll see it on Vashj this week, tune in to see how good we're doing.

| 11 Aug 2007 | Al'Ar the Phoenix God down
|
|
After a 2 weeks raid break and some badly needed vacation, we came back to finish what we had begun. After some needed wipes to make sure our newcomers knew the tactics, people started to play at their best and we quickly came back to our beloved sub 10% wipes.
For the first time, we reached the enrage timer and we knew we were close on getting the big bird down! Unfortunately, respawns made us lose time and we had to clear them again, for one last try before our Maintank had to leave. So we buffed up and pulled. An epic battle started, pullers dying right away, warlocks perishing at the beginning of phase 2... I had the feeling it could never work, but I was wrong! We got him down, the exact same second he enraged, exterminating our raid with a 15k Flame Buffet... only our protection warriors survived and gave the final hit.
Nice start everyone, let's continue like this and keep the motivation at a high level! |

| 10 Jul 2007 | We all have our demons...

Leotheras the Blind hits the dust, after a big and tough fight against him and all our inner demons!
This was our second raiding night against him, and after some fine tries the other raiding night, we were all full of hope to slay him this night, and it didn't take long time before Immortal had the fight under control, but the fun only started at 15%.
Sweat, tears and yelling leaders was the way to the kill, and we killed him with only 3 healers alive - Good job all!
A little bonus this night was Leotheras was the last boss before the great Lady Vashj - And ofcause we needed to have a little try on her. With less that 20 people we managed to get her to 65% without any tactics explained our focus at all, so a really fun fight, and a great raiding night. |

And down goes Fathom-Lord Karathress!
The fight itself was suppose to be the big healing challenge in SSC, but I would say its just High King Maulgar part 2. It all just required some healing adjustment and some practice, and after we killed Fathom-Guard Caribdis, it was just a tank and spank fight against Karathress.
Good job all in Immortal!
In other news, after we killed Karathress, Immortal had the first tries on Al'ar the phoenix god - The fight seems pretty easy, and we had some good practice tries on him where we got him to phase 2 without any pots. So there can soon be exspected a dead fire bird from Immortal.

Morogrim Tidewalker, a strange boss who didn't bow down for Immortals big wrath, and after many tries and different strategies, Immortal could finally kill the big pirate boss!
The raid started out good, and it didn't take long time before Immortal was infront of Morogrim again, with big hate and taste for vengeance, Immortal one shotted Morogrim on the first try and... wtf I wasn't even in the raid myself, so what do I know about it  lol. Anyway, Good job all in Immortal.
Next boss will be Fathom-Lord Karathress, we have already tried him, and he seems pretty easy. |

Even though we started to raid Tempest Keep, we didn't forget about SSC, and tonight we got a big fish on the hook.
We started to have fun with fishing yesteday, but this boss The Lurker Below distuped it all, so we had to punish it. After some wipes we started to find our own tactic, which was good, but also time consuming. But unlucky he jumped off the hook, so we had to call it that night.
Today we went for it again, though we had some bad mistakes and bad focus, it didn't prevent us from killing the boss, so after one of Immortals longest fights ever, we finally killed it - Good job all!

| 17 Jun 2007 | Void Reaver one shotted!

Void Reaver got one shotted by Immortal, on our first night in Tempest Keep, really fun fight and good experience with moving around.
The night started out good with a fast and smooth Maggy kill, after that we had the last people attuned to enter The Eye (Tempest Keep), and we were all ready to conquer the crystaline fortress ruled by Kael'thas Sunstrider.
After some easy trash, we could finally get some first tries on Void Reaver, and after some time where people had to learn how to play dodgeball, we managed to make our first Tempest Keep kill!
Good job Immortal - And get ready to kill the other bosses in The Eye!

| 29 May 2007 | Hydross the Unstable STABILIZED!
|
|
And down goes Hydross the Unstable, only a week after our first Magtheridon kill - Really good progress!
The evening started out with high hopes, since we have had a good raid monday evening where we had some nice tries on Hydross, even one where we got him to 10%, so this time we sure wanted him dead, baaad.
After many small mitakes and after some yelling on ventrilo, did people start to
understand how things were working, and we had some imba tries on him.. after a try where we got him to 2%, we got furious.
So it didn't take many tries before Hydross the Unstable got too unstable and had to bow down from the big might of Immortal, and it was only done with 24 people!
This kill shows Immortal has finally entered SSC, and there will be many more bosses in the near future who will hit the dust - Keep up the good work!

| 23 May 2007 | Magtheridon goes down!
|
|
Our first raid after the new patch went to Magtheridon's Lair, to fight against the migthy Magtheridon who was the former Lord of Outland. The first try of the evening went good and we wiped with progress since our former tries at him before the patch, but when we got down to him again the gate was bugged so we needed a soft reset. While waiting on the reset, we killed some time with going to Gruul's Lair and cleared it pretty fast without big problems.
Gratz to the people who got loot there, but back to Magtheridon's Lair, since flask timers were running low and we tasted a kill this night.
We had many good tries, and our last try for our raiding night ended with our first Magtheridon kill, and even a bonus in the kill was we got Magtheridon's head as first on the server. Good job all in Immortal!

Immortals movie makers are back in action, so go to the "Movies" section of the site for the new Gruul and Price kill movies! Not of course forgetting Thallia's tanking movie at High King!
There are also some site changes to mention.
There have been some changes to the guilds dkp system, so make sure you go by the "dkp rules" section and check out the changes.
Also the guild bank section of the site was a little out of date, so I've updated it to contain information on what the banks need and what you'll get by providing it! So make sure you check it out because the guildbank needs your help! |

| 27 Mar 2007 | Gruul The Dragonkiller slain!
|
|
After some difficult tries Immortal slayed Gruul The Dragonkiller, and Gruul's Lair is now cleared(26/03 - 2007). In the start we had some problems with keeping our MT's up in the end of the fight, but after the others learned to avoid unnessesary damage, healers could focus only on the MT's, and then the fight was really easy.
With this kill we are also starting to get people in Immortal ready for Serpentshrine Cavern, and we will soon within some weeks have a raid ready for that instance.

| 20 Mar 2007 | Nightbane is down - Karazhan cleared!

Yesteday Immortal finally killed Nightbane and conquered the Karazhan instance, it has been some tough nights with much blood, sweat and tears, but in the end we had great success.
I want to thank all who helped with making this happen - And I will ensure there will be many more new kills in the future from Immortal now that Karazhan is cleared.
